Liefde in de Stad – a research project in cooperation with the Institute Liefde in de Stad (Institute Love in the City) http://www.liefdeindestad.nl, collaboration projects with Paradiso. Liefde in de Stad is designLAB 4th project in a raw that deals with dilemmas and opportunities in urban zones. Starting from October 2008, CITIES is our main focus and we did a few projects abroad as well: Istanbul (October 08), Warsaw (Jan 2009) and also a project on Public Spaces in Amsterdam.
Current project ‘Love in the City’ was launched March 3rd 2009 will last till June 9th and will be terminated by a public pitch. The main question students are asked to refer: where and in which ways a personal definition of 'love' can be applied in the City. The winning concept, according to criteria’s formulated by our collaboration partners, will be realized in co-operation with the Institute Liefde in de Stad in fall 2009.
