the assembling of the map let the associations to "love" and "city" accrete to eachother...

words and handwriting will reflect the person behind...

mind mapping stimulates the analytical as well as the the creative and intuitive thinking. The right and the left brain hemisphere are both active...

project description

Liefde in de Stad – a research project in cooperation with the Institute Liefde in de Stad (Institute Love in the City) http://www.liefdeindestad.nl, collaboration projects with Paradiso. Liefde in de Stad is designLAB 4th project in a raw that deals with dilemmas and opportunities in urban zones. Starting from October 2008, CITIES is our main focus and we did a few projects abroad as well: Istanbul (October 08), Warsaw (Jan 2009) and also a project on Public Spaces in Amsterdam.

Current project ‘Love in the City’ was launched March 3rd 2009 will last till June 9th and will be terminated by a public pitch. The main question students are asked to refer: where and in which ways a personal definition of 'love' can be applied in the City. The winning concept, according to criteria’s formulated by our collaboration partners, will be realized in co-operation with the Institute Liefde in de Stad in fall 2009.
